Plain English. Nothing sneaky.

Last updated: 2026-05-13 · Effective immediately

What we collect

  • · The trip prompt you type.
  • · The itinerary RIKAR generates from it.
  • · Your email, only if you join the waitlist or sign up.
  • · Basic, aggregate analytics (page views, button clicks). No cross-site tracking, no ad networks.

What we don't collect

  • · Your inbox. Email import is opt-in and explicit.
  • · Your location, unless you paste a city into the prompt.
  • · Your contacts, calendar, browsing history, or device data.
  • · Payment details — we don't take payments yet.

What we never do

  • · Sell your trip data.
  • · Hand it to ad networks.
  • · Claim live booking availability, live prices, or real-time award seat data. Costs we show are estimates. Always confirm before you book.

AI honesty

RIKAR uses large language models (currently Anthropic Claude) to draft itineraries. The model can be wrong about hours, prices, or whether a place still exists. Always verify before you book or travel. Anything labeled “estimated” is exactly that.

Where data lives

In the current demo build, your trips live in your browser's localStorage and never leave your device until you join the waitlist. When real accounts ship, trips will live on managed infrastructure (Supabase) in the US, encrypted at rest. You will be able to export or delete everything with one click.

Email import (coming later)

When booking-confirmation import ships, it will be strictly opt-in. You forward a confirmation to a personal RIKAR address. We parse it, add it to your trip, and we don't store the raw email longer than 30 days. We will never read your inbox without your action.

Contact

Questions, data export, deletion — reply to any RIKAR email or write us at hello@rikar.ai. We respond within 72 hours.

This is an early-product policy. We will update it when we ship payments, accounts, and email import. We'll notify you in plain English when we do.
